Legislation Reform Needed Update:

Dr. Lipman is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist and world renowned authority in uterine fibroid embolization.  He received his Masters and Medical degrees from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1985.  He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and was selected Chief Resident in his final year.  He then completed a fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine.  For the next 14 years he practiced Interventional Radiology at Piedmont Hospital before becoming a solo practitioner in 2005.

He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Medical Association of Atlanta and the Cobb County Medical Society.  He has given over 100 invited lectures on Uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) and has one of the largest UFE experience in the world (over 2,000).  He was a regular medical contributor for WXIA Channel 11 in Atlanta, and has been interviewed on CNN with Wolf Blitzer, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, The Health Network, Family Circle, and WebMD.
